Cat rescued in Cluj NapocaThe 10 years old female cat you see in the photos below was rescued on June 16, in Cluj Napoca. I went there to meet with Mrs. Nancy Janes of Romania Animal Rescue. She came from the U.S. to bring me some supplies and to take back 15 puppies rescued by another charity. We found this cat as we got out of the train station. With us there was a representative of the Nuca association in Cluj and Mrs. Lynne De Lano, volunteer with the Peace Corps Romania. This rescue was a collaboration between us 4 and at the end of the day I took her back with me to Arad to continue to give her treatment, to deworm her and later on to spay her. Maybe even find a home for her.
While in Cluj we took her to Dr. Madaras Peter (0744534484), who came to the clinic after hours to see her. He deflead her and had to do a small surgical intervention to remove a small tumor that has grown in one of the cats ears. Since she was anaesthetized he also cleaned her teeth. Nancy paied the cab, NUCA paied the vet and I took the cat back to Arad :) And since Nancy had a carrier to spare she donated it to NUCA. The very definition of team work :) Nancy has a photo taken in front of the train station and some taken at the clinic. I will post them too once she will return to the U.S. and send them to me in an Email.
Please take a look at the photo and the other stories below. This is what we do. This is why you love us and wish to continue to support our efforts. Please send a donation today ... or tomorrow :)

Hit and run
There are so many cases of dogs hit by cars that I find it difficult to present them each in different ways. In this case this female dog chased a rat. She did get the rat but at the same time a car got her. The result can be seen in the photos. We also spayed her mother, who lives at the same location. Please send us donations to help us pay the vet bills, the food, the fuel and so on. Our work is made possible only thru your generosity and support. Be our friend. Be their friend. Be that friend today. Thank you. Claudiu Iosim, founder.

Dr. Silviu Radu and Dr. Cristian Boros amputated the leg that was completely destroied and operated the other rear leg in efforts to save it.

Keeping in touch
We keep in touch with the caregivers who contact us to include their strays in our spay/neuter program. This is an example. This male cat was in our care a few times since he was fixed, due to different health problems along the way. This time he cannot pee. Or should I say could not pee, because he is now under treatment and already shows signs of improvement.
Amputated tailThis kitten barely made it alive. Unfortunately his tail could not be saved. He is well now. The surgery was performed by Dr. Petru Stanut.
This female Cocker Spaniel was pregnant and had an injury at her rear left leg. She was healed and spayed. The lady who bought her from a gipsy to rescue her also adopted her after the surgery and treatment. This was another story with a happy ending.Dr. Cristian Boros offering the nedded medical assistance.
Abused female dog
We got a phone call from a lady who was feeding this lovely so called dangerous dog. She had a nasty infection in her rear right leg and the tale was in such a poor shape it had to be amputated. We also dewormed, deflead, vaccinated and spayed her. We had to register her with the local authorities as she belongs to the dangerous dogs cathegory. She is quite lovely and playfull. Her ribs do not show anymore. She is very fit and strong and will nedd a ferm hand to walk her.
Please adopt her or help us find someone to do it.
Female dog with injured
As you can see she was injured at the back of her head and at her paw. She is healed now. She has also been dewormed, deflead, fully vaccinated and spayed. Please help us find someone to adopt her so that we can rescue another.

Another dog hit by a car
This is yet another example of a hit an run. We took the call, rescued the dog and took him directly to Dr. Cristian Boros and his colleague Dr. Silviu Radu for surgery.
